Wayne Farlow

I initially founded Financial Abundance to provide for the distribution for my book, Financial Abundance Guide.  My book was written to help people plan their own pathways to financial independence.   When it became clear that most people require more than a guide book to meet their financial goals, the company evolved into a fee-only registered investment advisory firm.  We now help individuals, couples and small business owners secure a prosperous financial future.

Prior to founding Financial Abundance, I spent over twenty-five years as an executive manager and consultant to high tech entrepreneurial companies.  Two of my companies went public and the other two were sold to public companies.  My education includes a Bachelors and Masters degree from Duke University, as well as passing the rigorous examination required to become a Certified Financial PlannerTM  practitioner.

I am a monthly contributor to Colorado Biz Magazine and have been featured in the Wall Street Journal, Bankrate.com, Your Money radio show, the Denver Business Journal and the Boulder County Business Report.  To stay current with financial planning and investment research, I am an active member of the Financial Planning Association, Schwab Institutional Advisors and regularly meet with other CFP© practitioners.

My wife Janet and I have been married for over thirty years and have two grown children.  My community involvement has included serving on several non profit boards.  I am currently a member of the Advisory Committee for the Emergency Family Assistance Association (EFAA) in Boulder.  My hobbies include biking, golfing, hiking, skiing and traveling with my wife.
